Kelly Sager is a Detroit based designer who focuses on creating edgy,
unique, fashion forward clothing, while re-using as many found materials
as possible and changing what was once nothing, into something. She
has a passion for costuming and combining fashion with art, and is
influenced by things that fall under the radar for most; finding beauty
in the odd and forsaken.

Kelly was an underground DJ for many years, performing under the name
DJ Melody. She played in many legendary underground locales in Detroit-
including Motor, the Packard Plant and the Theatre. During this time she
performed with many notable dj's including Stacey Pullen, T-1000 and
Paul Oakenfold.

Kelly attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and in
two years she received a degree in fashion design and graduated with
an honors status of Cum Laude in May of 2009. She was also one of
the few who were chosen to have a garment featured in the F.I.T.
Student Exhibition, which was on display to the public. While attending
the Fashion Institute, she interned with notable designers Pepper & Pistol
and Cynthia Rowley.

Craving the inspiration that Detroit creates, Kelly returned to the area
after graduation. Less than a year later, she launched her first full
women's ready to wear line for Fall 2010, which featured 22 looks in
a full scale runway show. The collection includes custom leather dresses,
hand painted fabrics, lace ballerina skirts, liquid metallic leggings, leather
vests, accessories, hand dyed tights, and more. She continues to do one
show a year to launch her new collections, and is involved in many
special projects such as custom costume design, film projects and an
upcoming collaboration with Versatile Corsets.

Kelly Lynne designs have been published in 944, StyleLine and Shei
Magazines. She has received further recognition in numerous outlets,
such as a runner up nomination for the 2009 Fashion in Detroit local
designer competition, having her designs featured in the Bravo!Bravo!
2010 red carpet benefit for the Detroit Opera House, and most recently
winning Best Local Designer in the 2011 Art Van/Styleline Local designer
competition in April 2011.

She is currently working on a fashion horror film, and brainstorming new
art projects.
